Last night at Common Ground we had a special event in the form of a visit from Enlighten Illusion; illusionist Joshua Daniel and his assistants Donald and Jessica. They did card tricks, mind tricks, illusions and Josh even cut Jessica in half! Along the way Joshua spoke of his faith journey and how we are all connected to something, be it pop culture or Jesus, and we need to be very careful about how we interpret the world around us. It’s hard to hear God speak when your mind is cluttered with junk from the world. It was a fun night.

The audience was pretty psyched up about figuring out how the illusions worked.

Christian illusionist Joshua Daniel brought his act to Common Ground. Calvary Baptist Church Youth Pastor Mark Salazar was pretty excited about it.
