Spring Break 2014: Arlington, Texas

Woohoo, we made it! The six hour drive was more like an eight hour odyssey because of the torrential downpours that cut traffic speeds in half at times, but we avoided any wrecks and arrived safely at Mission Arlington shortly after 5:30pm. There, we checked in and were given the location where we’ll be staying, the Riverbend Apartments. Twelve people, two bathrooms, no problem. We also got to meet Marne, a Missouri Southern grad who works here for M.A. Small world! For dinner tonight we had spaghetti generously provided by North Main Street Baptist Church and New Fairview Baptist Church back home in Joplin. Gotta love it when churches cooperate!
