Tips for freshmen

College is so different from high school its nearly impossible to communicate what its really like to the average graduating senior.  You can tell them all about it using small words and great analogies and metaphors, but let’s face it, you might as well be speaking another language.  It just doesn’t translate.  And college can be literally overwhelming at first.  (Awesomeness Overdose!!!)  That’s why universities–to their credit–spend so much time and money trying to help incoming students make the adjustment.  And that’s why we work so hard to help those same students find a solid place to plug in spiritually.  That said, if you or someone you know is planning to show up on campus this fall, here’s a few friendly tips from the USA Today.
