- Take care of business. There are just some things that need to happen, like making a little money or spending time with your family. Make it happen or you’ll regret it later. 2 Thessalonians 3:11-12
- Bucket list! Pick something you’ll remember forever and MAKE THAT MEMORY. Will it cost too much? Likely. Will it be impractical? Sure. Is it irresponsible? Probably, but you only have so much time to live, so make the most of it.
- Go to church. Whether you explore new churches or just plug back in at Old Faithful Baptist, you need to go to church. Go with the mindset that you will be involved and contribute to the community, not be a bleacher bum. That’s Christianity 101 from Hebrew 10:24-25. Spiritually, summer can be a desert or an oasis, the choice is yours.
- Plan it out. Spontaneity is great, but you are guaranteed to get more done when you have a plan. Aim at nothing and you’ll probably hit it. Ephesians 5:15-16
- Take notes. Cheesy? Maybe, but take the time to process and you will appreciate it more and build stronger memories. Keeping a journal of your big moments will help you do that.
