Whenever the BSU goes on a mission trip, we always try to take a day off to enjoy the area we’re in. Partly for rest, partly to learn about the context and culture of the area we’re serving and partly to just have fun, the off day is usually a highlight for everyone. Today was that day for this trip. We saw a ton of stuff and had a great time traipsing around Chicago with Reuben Lilly–the worship pastor here at Northside and an all-around great guy. Reuben showed us things most tourists would never see and explained a lot of history most tourists never hear. It was amazing! Enjoy the pics below and remember to check out the complete album on our Facebook page or website next week.
