Brain food

Everyone knows that a proper diet is essential to long-term physical health. If you want to stay healthy, watch what you stuff in your mouth. Simple. But the same is true spiritually. The only difference is that our souls feed on words and images. Is it any surprise then when we struggle with areas of sin in our lives after watching a steady diet of American Dad and The Bachelor and listening to Jay-Z and Lil’ Wayne all day? Fish, it is said, is “brain food,” but so is what we see and hear all day.  How we entertain ourselves, like it or not, makes a big difference in our spiritual lives.  So…
