ENGAGE 2011

In case you missed it over the weekend, ENGAGE was pretty awesome. Steve Saccone talked about how to be more intelligent about how we relate to people and the world around us. One of my favorite parts was when he talked about becoming more of a “Story Collector.” The idea being that we really need to spend more energy getting to know people and really listening to discover who they are, what makes them unique and why. The conviction I came away with there was that I really need to be focus more interested in people and less interesting to them.

We also had the opportunity to worship with John Meyer, who was great, and ate at Imo’s Pizza, which wasn’t.
